Statistical data surveillance of the National Health Information (SNIS) indicate that the number of cases of other violence against women increased by more than 35 percent between 2008 and 2009, while domestic violence was reduced 10 percent.

The Equal Opportunity Plan was implemented in six areas: health, education, gender violence, citizenship and political participation, economic production and institutional strengthening.
