Are you ill? Symptoms and signs are signs that the body sends to indicate that something is not working well and should ignore them
The body is composed of a number of bodies, equipment, systems and components which interact with each other perfectly, when this happens we can say that we are healthy, but when one of them is damaged, decreases or increases the body functions and disrupts become ill and this can be caused by many factors, which may be physical, environmental, social, emotional or mental.
However, as the human body is very wise and health conditions works perfectly, when something fails, contact us through symptoms or signs, from central nervous system and endocrine system, responsible for monitoring everything that happens on our body.
Symptoms and signs are only signs and no mean alone the presence of a particular disease, because each can occur in many diseases. The coincidence of several of them, together with a physical medical examination and sometimes through laboratory studies or special equipment are those that guide the physician to establish a correct diagnosis, i.e. to clearly identify the type of disease and thus we give appropriate treatment.
The symptoms are those statements that the affected person feels, but are not detectable by others, such as pain, fever, cramps, nausea, dizziness, cramps, heat, cold, fatigue, sleepiness, trouble breathing, insomnia, burning , cough, cold, fainting, itching, etc.
The signs are manifestations of the body that other people can easily notice, changes in skin color, paleness, bruising, rashes, blemishes, dark circles, loss or excessive weight gain, bloating, diarrhea, vomiting, fainting, watery eyes, red nose, bad breath and more.
Some of these symptoms or signs, are sporadic, can occur for any unexpected reaction as a shock, exposure to the sun for a long time and others, and may pass quickly, without meaning suffering from any disease.
However there are some warning signs, which are symptoms or signs but can be sporadic, that is momentary or accidental, may indicate that something starts to malfunction and can be very dangerous.
Among the warning signs to which we must make immediate case are: chest pain, shortness of breath, pain and numbness of limbs, blood in urine or stool, persistent headache, difficulty sleeping or difficulty awake, among others.
Any sign of alarm symptoms or signs, people must act immediately to avoid further, excessive costs or risk to life.
