The mayor of San Roué, Fernando Palma, held yesterday, Wednesday, a meeting with the Director of Health Center of town, Antonio Gonzalez Pinto, who also directs the sanitary units located in different neighborhoods of the municipality. Also attended by Deputy Mayor of Education, Ramon Ramirez, the council member of Social Affairs, Rosa Macias, and Evades manager, Luis Patricio.
For the health official, the main problem of housing for their dependents residing in the damage caused by heavy rains and storms this past winter. Especially bad is the health module of San Enrique, who has many wetlands and other deficiencies.
The mayor promised to launch an emergency plan to address this problem, and offered all the means at its disposal to improve the facilities can be expected to complete the construction of the building that will house the new module of San Enrique. Palma said that at present are carrying out several actions to improve the health module of the station.
The head municipal noted all actions necessary to address the weaknesses but warned, “We have to wait for buildings to dry completely to intervene and improve the units.”
The mayor invited the heads of the Provincial Health Delegation of the Junta de Andalusia to visit the health modules of the San Roué neighborhoods to check the disastrous situation in which there is the furniture and the allocations that fall within its skills. Due to these poor conditions, the mayor requested an effort to Andalusia for renewal this material; it would lead to a substantial improvement in service to patients and users.
The mayor noted that the City is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings where the various modules located health of the locality, besides making available to municipal officials to serve the public, but not within the jurisdiction of local government.
