This morning was sworn in as Regional Director of Health, Dr. Manuel Arrunategui Nova, who until a few days ago he occupied as a Director of Environmental Health at the same institution.
In press statement, Dr. Arrunategui said he would continue with the line of work followed by Dr. Cesar Moron Pastor, former director, carry out new strategies to stop the dengue fever that has hit hard in recent years and also bartonelosis and leishmaniasis, diseases that affect the community Alto Pure.
He added that work in coordination with those responsible for health strategies in order to reduce levels of malnutrition and maternal mortality. At the same time said that its management is characterized by a job without political banner, which seek to improve the health of the population.
Among one of the first actions to deal with the Regional Director of Health is the subject of appointments, referring to the connection that “we will do everything according to the laws.” This is stated in relation to some manifestations of health workers who claim to have been excluded from health personnel who would soon appoint.
