Marcela Alejandra Arroyo has 35 years, mother of a 9 and is hospitalized in intensive care at the Favaloro Foundation for a week. You need a double lung transplant last Friday and went into national emergency.

Marcela took about four years to reach a diagnosis, until it was detected in 2010: idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (“a progressive disease so terrible,” said Marta). Before that, he suffered increasingly severe pneumonia, which worsened his health situation.
The family was grateful for the emphasis on treatment at the Favaloro Foundation, as well as the company where the woman works.
For four months Marcela is part of the waiting list INCUCAI. His aides appeal to the goodwill of those who go through the difficult situation of losing a loved one with a single security: “They will be helping someone else go on living.”
