A comprehensive medical monitoring reveals that extra work hours significantly decreased heart health. So establishing a study published in the official website of the European Society of Cardiology, conducted by researchers at the University of London and the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.
After reviewing the health records of 6000 14 employees, both men and women aged 39 and 61 years, scientists discovered that working three or four hours of overtime each day was associated with a 60 percent increase in the risk of coronary heart disease compared to those who worked seven or eight hours every day.
